Going back to recent memories, my recent memory, people will promise you the world but it means nothing til they give you a signature in black and white. f*** PG. He would've been... Well, it's done. f*** him. Would've easily been a top 4 team in the West so again, f*** him.

We have another superstar that likes to torture the Raptors. Hopefully we get a win tonight.

I’m a highly positive person in my whole life. I might be a little discouraged about the trash roster around LeBron right now, but at least it looks like the Lakers front office is willing to continually work on that.

LeBron this LeBron that.... Bro can you ever talk about anyone else but LeBron. This roster is not trash, last year with this "trash" roster we we're playoff bound until injuries struck, also top 10 in defense. After we added LeBron and all these vets our defense has gotten worse. So let's just give them time to build chemistry. Rome wasn't built in one day. Also as far as positivity goes around here, I still believe this team will make the playoffs, every game we had a chance to win and last night we came back in the 4th and fought back.

Every time a team with Bron on it loses there is only one possible explanation - his teammates suck. Has been this way his whole career, why should the narrative change now suddenly? Expect the media to feed us the exact same story.

I am still optimistic about this season and PO (expect second round exit). Since this is the optimism thread, I'll not comment on the future beyond 2019.

OK, how do you describe mid-level journeyman veterans and young skinny undeveloped second-year players?

If we are being honest, there’s not a whole lot to be excited about. I still think LeBron can carry us to a 5 to 8 seed in the playoffs, but we will get bounced in the first round most likely unless something dramatic changes.

If a 34-year-old LeBron is you’re leading scorer, rebounder, and assist man, I would have huge concerns with his roster.

I put that on the coach and why shouldn't James be the leader in all those depts? He was essentially that in Clev with another MAX player next to him. The only thing he shouldn't be leading here is reb's, our team should help him more in that dept. But asst/pts should be him considering he has the ball in his hands most of the time, I have seen very few plays where James is playing off ball in a half court set.

The Cavs are the worst team in the league and a massive dumpster fire where veterans are saying the young players can't play and they don't even have a head coach. There's no way that this roster is even comparable to that one.

I'll give LeBron until the end of this month, if nothing positively develops between and among our players, then it only proves what many were already thinking if not certain about 5 months ago. that (a) LeBron will just disrupt the then developing chemistry and familiarity among our young players, (b) the entire team will then have to adjust to LeBron's type of game rather than it being a reinforcement to what has already been started last year and (c) we'll be screwed.

My only issue with Bron is the 4-5 possessions in every quarter where the ball sticks to his hands too long for like 1st 15 seconds of the shot clock. Whether he passes it up or makes a shot is irrelevant, either makes both rondo and ball completely useless while underutilizing the rest in those 15-20 times.

Our very strength last year is anchored on speed, ball & player movement in both ends. We weren't top notch shooters, free throwers, blockers or stealers but something was developing before those injuries bombarded us and it felt like, despite not making it to the playoffs, we were heading somewhere bright. Now, with all the confusion, experiment, adjustments and all in the rotation, starters and what not, it feels different. The team feels different but hey, as does every new team in the NBA. So we'll see.

Like I said, end of November.

5 games below 0.500 should be the worst case. We go lower and it would be one hell of a climb back.

Players giving effort on defense instead of mailing it in to save energy. Who would have thought would help us in a game? lol

Peasants always cover for kings. It’s the way it is, and I didn’t make the rules. But we all know that Kobe’s defense was terrible in his final years, and his teammates had to cover for him every game.

And they were glad to. Why is this any different?
