If it’s true the Wolves called Houston and are requesting for Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker.... how on earth is Houston saying no to that?

They were 1 CP3 injury away from the NBA finals. Butler can put them over the top.

Houston refusing to add PJ freaking Tucker to get Butler, if true, is laughable. Gordon and Tucker for Butler is a steal, it’s a good deal for both teams. The Rockets would immediately shorten the gap even more with the Warriors. If it’s true the Rockets won’t do that they’re idiots, that’s a championship team. I hope it is true though and they don’t get him because the idea is scary.

abeer is right Houston is the devil's team..... strange powers to keep bringing in star players when they should have no business being able to.

Darryl Morey is a good GM but I think Houston gets the benefit of no other team has a grudge against them, so teams don’t mind making a deal with them.

If Morey was the Lakers GM I would imagine he would have difficulty pulling off these deals for the Lakers... and that’s mainly due to a lot of teams unwilling to do a deal with the Lakers. It’s a curse. A bunch of teams are bitter that the Lakers have beat down the entire league for decades and nobody wants to be “that guy” who helped the Lakers become contenders again.

PJ Tucker helped them with some matchups, so I can see why they want to keep him. He gave their key opponents issues when he was in the lineup.

They lose more size in that deal, and now they have CP3, Haren, Carmelo, Jimmy Buckets, and their center. That's pretty small ball as it gets.

Wait till Butler gets a load of Haren playing defense along side of him.

that's how they won last year, playing ridiculously small lineups with no one being willing to commit to scoring inside on them because the whole league thinks they employ steph curry. they'll keep winning that way until some coach/team grows a backbone and starts punishing them on the offensive boards.

eh, harden's got the same voodoo morey's got. hell, the league just issued a judgment on his obvious travel in a preseason game, claiming it's not a travel. if that's not a travel, i could have been a star.

i have no idea why the entire league wants to bend over and hand houston a title, but it really seems that way. lol, no pj no deal. minny's FO just getting WORKED.

gordon/tucker/2 unprotected 1sts slated for after paul's knees give out or you can keep finishing second, chubby.

    see? it's not that hard.

Soften is the only player who can move from one foot in front of the line to behind the line without dribling and not get a travel called.

Butler is a great player.I just dont see a fit here.We need ball movement. He tends to be an isolation type of player a little to much.

What a mess is right. Holy crap throw an even bigger circus tent over the top of the first one that needs to go over that organization, and did not know Elton Brand was the new GM. Their leverage for Butler in a trade totally in the crapper and f****** Houston probably again the undeserving benefactor.

Hustle God Jimmy Butler + Cocaine Eyes James Harden.

My inner Spartan is screaming NO.

Based on my speculation Jimmy Butler has a strong moral compass. Lebron has no idea what that even is.

If this isn't outright trolling, this is a wildly uninformed and incorrect opinion.

I wish it was. But it isn't.

It's not the end of the world if you root for the bad guy.
