    That shot was aweome. As soon as he let it go it looked on line. Haven’t had a player capable of making stuff like that look routine since Kobe, feels great to have that again.

    Ok, it finally hit me. LeBron is a Laker.

    I knowww it's just preseason, but even when the stakes are just a little bit higher, like playing GSW in the preseason, the competitive juices get flowing for me. And having a gamebreaker like LeBron on your squad is simply an unbelievable feeling. When I saw LeBron hit that 40 footer then freeze and stare at the crowd... I thought to myself, "oh man, he's doing the Steph right in Steph's face". And then I find out he said "Kobe" right before taking it? Gold. This will be a fun season.

    More than obviously the great long three and the alley-oops, what stuck out to me was the defensive energy he brought. Look we all know he's in Kobe 2009-2012 mode: pick your spots on defense, but LeBron f***ing James took a charge in this game. He took a charge against Kevin Durant in a pre-season game. THAT is leadership. He was also closing out pretty nicely on shooters and pushing the pace appropriately. This was a game in which he could have easily treated it like an All-Star game, but instead he put the Warriors (and the Lakers) on notice: this is going to happen 4 times in the year. Get prepared or it. The Lakers are not going to be a pushover and he didn't just come here to sell movie stubs and make talk shows.

    Terrific game and nothing but respect out there.

    A post in the GSW game thread said during the regular season, he would have waited till the shot clock expired to shoot that shot. I didn’t write anything about in my doom because I would have been labeled a hater. Which of course I am but I did think they were probably right.

    And all effortless too. Not like in Cleveland where he was literally carrying that team. He has to work so much less having guys like Rondo, Zo, BI, being able to help facilitate, and the offense and transition game allows him to work off ball and take the focus off him, or when it is, leaves guys wide open with his excellent passing.

    It really is crazy how easy it is for him to control the game. He can get whatever he wants out there - rebounds, assists, points.

    Loving LeBron's body language and just the whole way he has been playing with our team. Not to mention what a freaking baller and now he's our baller. Biggest thing though he is keeping that beard trimmed. Not going Harden on us. Thank god.
