Better Toronto than Boston or Philly. Heck maybe they make this trade and then get on the phone with Magic "Hey we heard you wanted Kawhi, we won't demand as much as the Spurs."

I like Toronto. Just don't see Kawhi wanting to be there if he really wants to be in LA.

I considered that later on after Real's post. Definitely a valid angle.

Not sold how much winning plays into his decision. I'm sure he doesn't want to go to a rebuilding project but on the other hand he's in a winning situation now (personal beefs aside). Still gotta like our odds here even if he is traded.

The other thing is that I wouldn't mind getting a chance to see him play especially before giving up assets for him. With this, Toronto takes the initial risk with a trade and we actually get to see him and determine if he's healthy enough to go after.

I’m pretty sure if you swap a healthy Kawhi with DeRozan last year, the Raptors give the Cavs a series, if not beat them, that’s how good he is, that’s why I’d do it if I were them. They’d jump to right up there in the conversation for best in the East, and they’d most likely no longer be frauds. They’d challenge Boston and I’d be good with that.

Is he in Toronto yet? Sign me up. This is perfect. Toronto could not be any further from L.A. and its moderate weather. If he really wants to be here there can be a pressured trade at the deadline where he comes to us for picks and a couple rebuilding young ins. Or he walks at the end of the season. If not then f*** him too. He also should not be wanting prime players off of our roster being sacrificed to get him.

Zo still here, BI, Kuz and Hart who all now are followed by LeBron on social media. And best of all we get to see everyone play for at least half of a season. What do you still got Kawhi? Show everyone.

Toronto is bad. With him they could make the Finals, which would make him more likely to resign. We should be aggressive in getting him now.

This guy ain't resigning in Toronto. I'm hoping he goes there so he can experience the winter in the East Coast. He will pack his bag so fast after the season over.

If they get to the finals, why wouldn't he? When healthy he's probably the best player in the East.

With Embiid and Irving's injury histories, you honestly don't know what could happen.

    :Ingramsawinglogs: says hi.

He's my guy no doubt, but he's as sleepy as they come.

If it comes down to just trading Kuz or BI for Kawhi, you have to consider it, especially if the medicals come out alright. I don't want to give up BI at nearly all costs, but to utilize one year of Bron's prime is too saucy to give up.

Obviously in a perfect world we add Kawhi next summer, but when those trade demands start to give, I think LA needs to make a move.
