Only 1 point in the 2nd half, but he filled up the stat sheet for the entire game.

13 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks, on 2/4 from three. And couple of nice dimes

A couple of other fun things: Somehow found an opponent's contact lens on the court and pulled his teammate away from the ref when he was arguing a call telling him to let it go. Showing maturity.

It's going to be a common theme though in this 1st season. Getting stripped in traffic setting and needing to get stronger. That's okay, these things will come in time.

Who's got the sweeter stroke, quickness aside, between Kuz, Moe and Svi?

Answer too close to call .... don't care ... be happy for all three of these players as shooters?

Definitely Svi has the best stroke.

    Mo is second.

Kuz I'd third. Kuzma isn't a great shooter but he makes enough to be allowed to shoot. He shot 36% from 3 last year which is below average.

Since when is 36% from 3 as a rookie below average? Kuz shot a slightly better 3 ball % than Markkanen.

yea i thought 36% from 3 is the base line to indicate if youre a good 3pt shooter, 40% is elite

It is. Saying Kuzma is not a good shooter is madness.

the spin move on the overplay into the driving bucket was more functional in terms of what he'll see at the next level, though.

Wag is nice. Looks like he will be able to produce this year. I like this regime’s approach of getting players with a few college years under their belt. Moe seasoned for their rookie year.

Wasn't a perfect game tonight, he's a much better FT shooter than he showed. But all the tools, energy, intensity was all there. Gonna love me some Moe this year!

The outside shot, taking guys off the dribble, all were very impressive.

He reminds me a lot of Nance with obviously less hops, not a great defender like Nance wasn’t either. Will dive for loose balls, gets the crowd pumped up, quick fan favorite for his constant energy and playing with all his emotions on display out there. He’s got a nice shot though, some solid post moves, had a very nice steal that led to that monster jam as well.

Nance as far as hustle is concerned, yes. But offensively its not even close. He's already showed more skills offensively in just the Sacramento Summer League than Nance ever did with us. Athletically Nance is of course superior but Moe never hesitates to shoot it or put it on the floor and attack.

I just meant he feels like a Nance replacement, a hustle big that will dive for loose balls in summer league that the fans love immediately. Also like him as a big that isn’t a great defender because he lacks strength. Offensively, yeah, not the same at all, Mo is more skilled.
