    I don't buy that. Before they met today Julius said he was still excited about the possibility of playing with Lebron. They (he and his agent) obviously didn't like what the Lakers were offering or saying today in their meeting about money or playing time or role or all of the above.

    Why? Randle (and or his agent) didn't like what they said and wanted out. Not everyone is going to get what they want from the FO. And for the record I've been advocating keeping Randle all season long. It didn't work out and I hate to see him go but we don't know what it would have taken to keep him here, ultimately. His agent is a D!@# by the way.

    Man this place is the same every summer. :D Whining and crying like the world has ended even after we signed LeBron James. “Yeah LeBron is nice and all, and we still have Zo, Kuz, BI, Hart, and KCP, drafted Mo and Svi, but what ELSE has the FO done?!”. That’s my WMC, some fans here not being happy that we went from a 35 win team to a playoff team, maybe top 4 in the West in 2 days of free agency. Unbelievable.

    Lebron signing has everything to do with the signings after. KCP was packaged with Lebron. Lance, McGee and Rondo so we can compete now.

    Because Mintz is a d******?

    One knucklehead helped push the Pelicans to sweep 3rd seeded Trailblazers.

    How are you so sure of this? What if Cousins wanted $15+ million from us but willing to take $5mil for a ring? Also Rondo >>> Napier.

    If you are planning on outshooting the Warriors, good luck.

    This FO is showing a significant inability to surround Lebron with the right complementary pieces . Both Lance and Rondo are HORRIBLE signings .

    This is a huge concern .

    Our frontcourt is a joke too right now

    Totally get the whining and moaning about the whining and moaning and I was guilty of the same yesterday when I read about Rondo in and Randle out (and I really like Rondo).

    So now, without histeria, shouldnt we get at least one real shooter? And I don’t really know what happened with Randle, but don’t you guys think his departure for nothing really hurts us? I thought he was either a great smallball five and a bruiser under the basket (the only one we had) or a trade chip which could‘ve allowed us to keep most of our other young players. Now it appears the only way to get Kawhi is losing basically all our youth except Ball and chances to improve the roster this offseason (!) have been minimized.

    Maybe my problem is just that I thought winning this season was already realistic...

    My only WMC is Randle left for 9m, when everyone here would of been happy to pay him 12.5-15, which has left a hole in our front court in my opinion.

    for real: my dad's not even a laker fan, but when he heard we essentially swapped randle for rondo, i thought he might cry. it was sort of funny. he like "wait....what?! why?!"

    I think it hurt us, but there's nothing we can do if a guy wants out. The relationship between Mintz and the Lakers looks irreparable right now. We traded Russell to NY, he embarrassed us with George, and then he took Randle and left for less money. It stings, but what are we going to do?

    I'd like a shooter, but we'll just have to be patient I guess. And every team witg LeBron on it has a chance to win.

    Rondo is horrible. I wish we kept Caruso as Lonzo's backup and potential starter for 30 games if Zo gets hurt again.

    Typical day in Lakerland. When we were talking about Boogie, everyone including quite a few on this board, went On and on about his injury and how devastating it was.

    He signs with Golden Stare and suddenly it’s a better signing than Lebron.

    Even being conservative We added 13 to 15 wins this offseason and a trip to the playoffs.

    Magic and Rob have done more than enough for folks to calm down and give them time to execute their plan. They’ve added multiple vets while keeping most of our youth and maintaining some cap flexibility with one year deals.

    The complaints are starting to strike me more as just not wanting to admit the front office is doing better than some of us thought.
