Did anyone ever really think he was going to make it?

I'm not going to kick the kid or anything, but he's just not good enough. There were probably 40-50 kids who didn't get drafted that are lightyears ahead of him in terms of talent. The kid can have a decent career in Europe if his dad stops acting like a jerk.

No, but I thought we would possibly offer him a spot on our summer league team just to show good faith. Definitely no training camp invite

I'm glad Rob and Magic and maybe even Luke were like "No, this isn't happening" (we're tired of Lavar and the comments he made during the year about Luke and this off-season)

The two younger brothers should have. They aren't good enough at basketball to get far and make a living out of it. Now Lonzo is going to have to support the whole family. It was funny seeing the 3 Holiday brothers at the draft cause you know that's what Lavar wanted the Balls to look like.

Oh I think Melo will possibly get there if some team is willing to ignore the semi trailer of his father's baggage he brings with him. And if he can play any defense like Lonzo. He's only 16 or close to 17. He has to be broken of being a chucker though and like the other brothers only listens to LaVar. That's why he got pulled from HS because LaVar was insulted that some other coach would dare say to HIS son we don't need you jacking the ball up 30-40 times every game. Melo even got the Lonzo haircut. May wind up taller than Lonzo. Totally different mindset as a player though.

Lavar should be thrilled that the Lakers aren't treating this son with kid gloves.

Lavar will start to learn that staying in yo lane will need to start to mean him.

Colin Cowherd and all these hypocrites need to stop giving him a forum to talk. He is a nobody.

He has one NBA level kid. 2nd kid isn't built for the NBA, the younger one has a open mouth breathing problem and looks like the offspring of a mule and Odell Beckham Jr.

There needs to be someone that needs to shut him down like rappers end other rappers career in a rap battle.

If anyone watched the second season of Ball in the Family, in this season LaVar already pulls the youngest one out of high school and he gets homeschooled.

The youngest one is dumb as rocks. Can barely spell or do basic math..... LaVar essentially making him a high school dropout isn’t exactly the greatest idea.

Don't need to watch TV to see it. Stunted growth all over his face and aura. I was watching Deadpool 2 last night and after the movie ended, I saw a family of 4 there, 2 of the kids were under 10. Some people shouldn't be parents. Lavar Ball is one of them.

I also know there was mention that the youngest does actually have NBA potential, which is why LaVar thought it was fine to pull him out of high school so he can focus on training for the NBA.

However, in that same ball in the family season, LiMelo has the worst attitude of any player on the Lithuania team. He essentially was on instagram every time he was in the locker room, completely ignoring the coach. I think he gets some of that attitude from LaVar undermining the coach.

Best way to control distraction is winning. I
That's exactly what it is. Coach being undermined is one of the worst things you can have on a team. It is why the Oakland Raiders stunk for so long when Al Davis started getting worse and worse with his BS. Jerry Jones took the mantle after that.

If I was an owner of any professional club or business for that matter, there would be no conflict ever brewing from a family member. If Lavar wants to keep his b******* up, his a** isnt allowed at games. If he keeps talking, you set up your connections in the media that if you keep giving him a forum to talk s*** about the Lakers, they do not get the privileges of interviewing players, execs, whomever.

Lakers need to focus on winning not some d*** face soccer dad who doesnt shut the f*** up.

Exactly... I have a serious problem with him taking aim and firing at Luke (the whole, “Luke lost the team” drama) and recently at Gunner Peterson, with him being critical of his training techniques and it’s his fault for Lonzo missing time last season.

Even recently, LaVar said something along the lines of the coaching staff is babying Lonzo too much, and that if Lonzo is shooting bad he should be benched.

I hope he, and everyone else realizes that if we did that, and benched Lonzo for shooting 26% from three and 47% from the free throw line, he would be critical of the Lakers for benching Lonzo anyway. He would spin it and say we aren’t giving him playing time to improve. The guy is going to be hypocritical and won’t be accountable that if Lonzo and his brothers suck, it’s probably their own issues they have to work through.

OMG. He's not charging enough money. Raise those ticket prices!

    :Kobe Snickering:

I want to know if he is coaching for real or defacto pulling the strings for the coach of the L.A. Ballers?
