When I posted that tweet a few pages ago I thought it could be great for us as hopefully this will scare some teams and he'll fall to us.

Pincus agrees with us: Lakers unlikely to use assets to move up when we need those to dump Deng.

    Cant link on my phone.

Pincus said there were clear signs the Lakers were in on Kuzma (part of why nbadraft.net had him at our pick) and that the Lakers were clearly picking Randle. So all this talk of Zhaire Smith strikes him as odd. He doesn't know about the 1st, but my guy Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is a solid bet in the 2nd.

I love his talent. He's by far the best shooter in the draft; automatic from well beyond NBA range. He's a rangy player with some defensive potential due to his length. He's got some growing to do, but can honestly be a starter in the league. His jumper has been compared to Klay and I absolutely see the comparison.

Ok, Cool. Thanks. He might get nabbed before 25, then?

I'd be surprised if he got to us. It's possible the broken hand chases a team or two away, but he's one of my favorites in the draft. I expect him to go in the late teens probably.

Huerter or Robinson would be slam dunk picks if we keep the 1st.

Except there is no lack of 1st round talent evaluation since a late 1st is mostly a very similar pool as an early second. Working out someone slotted in the 2nd round that you really like means you can reach with that late 1st which is exactly what we've done for the last few years.

Admittedly I have to brush up on some of the real late names, but that's more or less how I'd go about this. There's some really solid value across the board in this draft.

Yeesh, Porter might be the second coming of Jabari Parker. So much talent, but may be injury prone.
