Because what they're doing builds chemistry. Have you not noticed how much fun everyone is having? Even guys like IT and Channing Frye instantly gravitated towards the team the moment they joined.

Some teams do it differently, but I'd rather have them having fun, developing bonds, and it'll translate on the court.

It's now even a thing now that the league knows how much the youngins love clownin on each other. It creates a lighter environment of inclusion no matter who you are and can be an attractive destination instead of more tense environments like the Spurs or Philly at the moment with their situations.

What's our story right now? Whether the one of the best players in the NBA wants to team up with another all star player.

A little, but how does that play whenever All Stars join the team and they are focused on winning championships: PG being asked post game questions about Zo’s bars. SMH. I would expect IT and Frye to try their best to fit in since they are looking for a home. I guess it’s working until it doesn’t.

I'm sure there will be a line between professionalism and leisure. You also have to remember these guys are only 20-24 years old. Bringing in an all-star type leader will help them distinguish that line as well.

PG can just choose not to answer the question, simple as that. It'll be a learning curve for the kids for sure, but I fully expect the leaders of the team to draw the line.

    Well played....

Anyways, back to Zo's injury riddled season (needed another "shot" after his poor private pre-draft showing, had to shut it down in the SL, missed a third of the season due to various injuries. There's growing pains...but if the trend continues (becomes chronic pain), I'm definitely concerned.

And that's without considering his "broken" shooting form (on Js, from the line, or otherwise)...

#MeToo I consider myself a big fan of his (been all in on him since UCLA), but the history he's carving out with injuries is scary.

same here...i was hoping it was more bad luck but as the season went on it started to look more like a trend. it also makes you wonder how much his wearing of various shoes had to do with everything?

heres to hoping his rookie year was more of a fluke, and he has a healthy season!

I don't mind the riff raff between him and Kuz...the bar he used on his dad must've been something they clown on each other with hard behind closed doors (ie Lavar)...so as long as it is of the "team building" variety, I'm down with it.

That being said, the only shots he needs to be taking are in the gym.

Kuz may put a beat down on Zo tomorrow and then get him in a head lock like Artest did to Kobe when he got next to his ear .... and say "you keep my daddy out yo mouth son"

I just wouldn’t want the “face” of my franchise to be known for his diss tracks, injuries and big mouth father. We already lost one #2 pick to immaturity, now the door is slowly opening for another.

It’s all just noise that goes away when he plays a full season this coming year.

More like WHEN. Feel free to rub it in if I'm proven wrong, but I don't think I will be.

This is how I imagine a Jaguar/Lonzo interaction going down

So your whole point is that because he was injured his rookie season he will always be injured going forward.

His health experience this year got his full attention. He's putting in the work to make sure it does not define his career ahead.

I mean, knees are troublesome, but I’m with you, being injured as a rookie doesn’t mean a ton when you come in with not as nba ready of a body as some others. Zo and Ingram have had to deal with this, but it doesn’t mean it’s forever. Randle broke his leg game 1 of his rookie year, then went on to play 81, 74, and 82 games the next 3 years. Ben Simmons missed his entire rookie year, played 81 games the next. Early injuries don’t tell the future one way or the other.
