Yup. Cavs getting blown out tonight... Vegas odds came out were 20/1 on odds to win the finals next year. 5th best in the league... Hmmmmm. Wonder if PG has anything to do with that.
klay winning chips with ease, doesnt get the pressure like steph/kd if gsw loses, willing to take less to stay. doesnt sound like a player that's going to leave at all
Yeah. Klay is staying. He also will never be labeled a Warriors Ring Chaser since he was one of the original three.
Klay has been about as open and upfront about staying as any athlete ever. I don't understand why Laker fans keep thinking of him as an option. As of today, he's given zero indication of interest in us or in leaving the Warriors.
Today I spoke with a colleague who knows PG personally. Here's the takeaway. 1. Thinks he's probably coming to Lakers but teams like philly will be after him hard if they don't land lebron. 2. He'd be willing to come to lakers alone. Not contingent on another big FA signing. 3. Lebron and PG have been dying to play with each other for a few years with lebron GMing trying to make trades with Indy. Signs pointing to both lebron and PG signing with lakers.
Oh one more. 4. Lebron has been wanting to play with kawhi real bad too. But $ SA can offer him would make it hard for him to come in FA in 2019. I didn't ask about trading for Kawhi.
I know we created spots for 2 max guys, but if we just walked away with George this summer it is a big win. He would be the first domino and more will come in the future.
