Yes. They have two all-star caliber players in Jordan and Griffin. They have solid vets around them in Beverly and Gallinari. They have a potential 6th man of the year candidate in Lou...We have one starter over the age of 25 in Brook Lopez. Our future looks A LOT brighter than their dismal mediocrity, but next season, we will still be starting 4 guys under 25, two of which can't even drink yet (unless they find themselves in Idaho or Alabama). I'm not saying they are going to finish in the top 4 in the West or anything. The Warriors, San Antonio, GS and the Rockets are all considerably better. But we'll have to wait for one more season of them being the best team in LA.
Yeah, it's really sad. His article on the Kyrie/LeBron situation was weak imo too. Way too much LeBron a**-kissing for my taste. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/20125888/kyrie-irving-trade-request-shows-learned-lebron
Anyone remembers the article about Bron almost sent home from team USA for being a raging douche and right after that accidentally Lebron had the racist grafiti incident?
I've followed that netw3rk guy on twitter for many years now. He's always got something real clever or funny to share. Thanks for posting that, that's great
I don’t get it. Is he saying the clippers are going to die for getting their own stadium in Inglewood?
My post had nothing to do with the thread title, this is just the “Clippers Thread”, so I posted that here. You don’t know that old fable, I guess? Scorpion asks the frog or whatever (depending on the version) for a ride across the river, frog is wary, but the scorpion agrees to not sting the frog because they’ll both drown if it does. Halfway across it stings the frog, explaining that it’s in its nature, it couldn’t help it. That’s the Clippers, always saying they’re going to change, make progress, become a better franchise, but in the end, no matter what, they still act like the Clippers. Clippers gonna Clip.
Oh ok my bad. I know the fable, but I thought it was applicable to the clippers as far as the new stadium. This is my first time seeing this thread.
You did a great job though. Now I'll use that fable to explain to my wife why none of the chores are done.
