so, I’m sure many of you besides watching the up and coming lakers, do other things, maybe such as travel... so I thought I’d create this thread to use for advice, share expierences, and recommend places to visit...

So me and the lady are looking to travel, we wanna hit up a relaxing spot with those crystal clear shallow beaches... we were thinking Cancun, but we see a whole bunch of other places... can anyone recommend a place? Maybe a place that is kid friendly? Our daughter will be 8 months by then.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Bora Bora. My friends got a little cottage on a walkway on stilts in a cove. I think they said they had a big hole in the floor in the cottage so you can look down and see the crystal clear water and fish swimming beneath.

Cancun is nice for the All-Inclusive type of deals. Waters are warm, the resorts are well kept, and everything's pretty much included except tip and other extracurriculars like massages, snorkling tours...etc. You really don't have to leave the resort unless there was something you really were looking for or want to go bargain shopping for souvenirs.

Some places have tide pools shallow enough to lounge around in for children as well.

Just watch out for the Time Share sharks at the airport. Just make sure to stick to your plan and go straight to your resort when you land.

Travelzoo has some pretty good weekly deals. I've been lurking there, but when I found out about the site I had just booked a trip to Hawaii (that we went on two weeks ago). But they have some great deals.

All inclusive. No tipping allowed. Food, drinks, hotel, and all activities are included. Can also hop from one resort to another if you want.
