The hate for him in Game Day is incredible in spite of those facts. Micro what have you done for me lately after 1st bad play. Even when 1st half is off the charts and why we're in the game in the 1st place.

I forgot what a great game he had because of the anger that boiled over in the 4th, but you’re right, he was scorching hot. 8-11 on threes, his 1st quarter alone was crazy.

He's been really a good player for the most part for us with pretty good consistency ever since getting out of the "big house"

If he shot like he had tonight all year of course we would be singing an entirely different tune. He's streaky as all get out. Ultimately though I don't think KCP's a keeper. His defense has been nowhere near what I had hoped it would be and that's the biggest thing for me. He's ok as a starter but I'd rather see Hart going forward who I think has more potential.

Oh yeah definitely don't want back with Hart here and if PG too can play the 2. If he comes.

it will be interesting to see what the market will bear for him

still think he'll regret turning down that big contract the rest of his life

He's been hot for 3 months ... 39.6% on 5.7 attempts from 3 for the season is GOOD and not easy to find ... Defensively he always has been bad on ball and very good off it .

I like Hart too but he has ways to go as a defender ( besides as a post up one) too .

A lot will depend on what George is going to do in the offseason . If he's not coming here , we just can't get rid of KCP like this .

I surely don't want IT back , Brook and KCP are others stories imo

I'd be more inclined to keep Brook if we can get a deal. Sure I agree we'll need to see what happens in FA with the big names first. Can't see signing KCP for more than one more year though. I'd still explore moving Hart into the starting lineup at the 2. I prefer his fundamentally sound D over KCP's predilection for gambling on steals and the like.

he's done a lot for himself in the past couple of months, i think. i do think it would look better for him (and IT) if the team finished strong while they were doing well, though.

KCP has been shooting extremely well...

other parts like defense have suffered. He also seems to be a little selfish, doesn't have the vision to set up teammates in better spots. But overall he is still one of the more reliable players on this team.

KCP has been great this year. Brook has been great this year. I say great as in they have been sold one year, end of their contract players.

^Yep. KCP has been solid; best FA signing in years and still gives us great flexibility to go into FA this summer because of his one-year contract.

Excellent signing by Rob and Magic.

KCP had a terrible game against his former team...which has to hurt because you want to show out against a team that didn't believe in you...

With that said...I'm curious to see what he gets in the off-season. Not too many teams have cap space and I'm not sure anybody is gonna really wanna commit to him long term (or even NEED him that badly).

There's a small chance we could keep him as a back-up on the cheap....
