Would we be better off pursuing a guy like Brandon Jennings? Might cost less and give similar results. He looked great in his return.
Hes streaky too n 1gm shouldn't change jennings outlook (ended up in china forba reason, just like dwill).....might as well draft another big pg or pt foward
you're both right!? having a scoring guard off the bench is useful. i'd put a dollar amount on it and offer that to the large number of FAs who fit the bill until one bites.
Really nice close to the game, some big shots, that layup where he faked the crap out of Jokic, tossing the ball to Murray at the end of the game, hahahaha. But please, don’t re-sign him. Love it
I stood up and ran around in circles when this happened And then to throw the ball to Murray at the end of the game, LOVED THAT! Just dabbing him with some salt
I resign him for a favorable deal, but he’s not waiting around for nor will be excited about our offer most likely.
At first I thought that Isaiah just didn’t wanna mess with his shooting percentage, and so he threw it away and it happened to go to Murray, But if his intention was to punk Murray, that would make me so happy. Like it’s totally rubbing salt in the wound and everyone knows it, but nobody could say anything about it because it’s the classy move to not shoot when the game is decided.
...enjoying what could be a brief Laker career for Thomas. I'm sure he has notions that he might not be back but at least he's not being a distraction, not playing "me" ball and trying to mesh with his teammates. Those alone and a return to health would be or should be enough for another team to give him another chance to revive his career. I have no ill will towards Thomas as a player but given what he has gone through would like to see him succeed and get rewarded even if it isn't what he believes he's worth.
It's really hard to say what role players we need when we know the roster has potential to completely change by July. But as the team is currently constituted, IT is exactly what this roster needs right now! IT is not efficient but he offers intangibles. When the shortest guy on the roster might be toughest/saltiest player 2nd to Randle, it sets a tone for both teams. He is playing a role in having some of the young guys "unlearn" losing from the past years. Tonight's was probably closest to a "meaningful game" we've had in years... it was starting to become a pressure cooker in there, and IT responded. The toss to Murray is truly a icing on the cake, the guy was gold tonight.
