He made a few boo boo's here and there, but he still put up 13 points, 9 assists and only 2 TO's in 25 minutes. Without BI, he's the only one who can give Zo a rest.
It's the Young Guys. Where have we heard this before. Stop turning the ball over by crazy attempted moves in crunch time yourself, IT. How about letting Lonzo handle it more. "We don't know how to win yet", Isaiah Thomas said. "It's obvious. We have a young group. We're not executing the way we need to down the stretch. The other team, when you're losing you got nothing to lose. So you're applying pressure offensively and defensively that maybe you didn't do all game ..... I think if we execute , we'll be a lot better." https://www.pressreader.com/usa/los-angeles-times/20180308/282011852870262
I don't like in the last 2 games, the offense just stagnated to IT trying to create something, and everyone else watching. While he did make some good plays down the stretch, there were a lot of times where he couldn't do anything. He's a good scorer and should let Lonzo initiate the offense for him and get him the look, and everyone has to move off the ball.
translation: "The guys haven't figured out how to give me the ball, set multiple screens to help me get open, and then rebound my misses adequately. I hope they learn soon because it's making me look bad."
I don't disagree, but I believe he's talking more about defense than offense. We lost a 9 point lead with 2 minutes left in the game. That's not all on the offense.
Ding ding ding .... this sounds like a winner. Wonder if we can get Barns to give you that ever so elusive 114th "Trophy Point". You could tell your grandkids some day how everyone else at LB was stuck on 113.
It is kind of an odd change. He wore #2 in college, and #22 with the Queens. He then wore #3 with the Suns, #4 in Boston (3 is retired there), and 3 again with Cleveland. He must have settled on it for whatever reason with Phoenix.
