That will teach you to listen to me. Saw him play live, before the draft. He sucked then, he still sucks now.

Reading that Shake Milton review I’ll be damned if DLO didn’t come to mind.

I'm waaaaaay too lazy to look for that thread. :D

But I'm pretty damn sure I was not into Bender. I thought he was an overreaction from the Porzingis hype.

Ironically I felt the same about Markkanen but I was right on Bender and wrong on Markkanen. Go figure.

The only proof you will find is of me entertaining myself and others with a proposal to trade down from #2 to pick him later along with other assets.

Kind of funny to know I might have been able to trick you into thinking you supported him though.

    Mwahahahahsha!

I see us trading this pick to get rid of Deng. It will be worth it. Thoughts?

gonna have to be more than that pick. Heck I'd be okay with send out the Cavs 1st we have and 2 future 1st from us at this point.

Or something like Cavs 1st, Lakers Future 1st and either Thomas Bryant or Zubac. Even though I'd rather keep Zu and give them another Future 1st

2-Firsts and a prospect and Zu? That wouldn't be my fist offer; but that's what it might take. I'd love to acquire another stud, but getting rid of Deng takes precedence.

And normally we wouldn't do this, sacrificing our picks like this, but Randle is turning out to be someone we can't afford to lose for nothing. And if we truly plan on being a team of the future those picks won't be anything but high 20's and I'm sure Randle would be a better player in the long run than any of those players we would have picked in that range of the draft in future years.

I've been on the Deng/Zubac/Cleveland 1st train with a possible 2020 1st included as well that is Top 10 protected just in case for a Protected 2019 pick that turns into 2 2nds in 2020/2021.

I give up everything not nailed to the floor to get rid of Deng so we can resign Randle. Just give me a few seconds to nail Ball, Ingram and Kuzma to the floor.

Honestly, I think it will cost us the Cleveland pick, the 2020 pick, Hart and Zubac. Teams know why we'd be trying to dump Deng. We want to resign Randle. With every passing game that Randle dominates, the rest of the league's leverage grows on us. Is two firsts, Hart and Zubac too much for a crap team to take on Deng's contract? Absolutely. But they all know that the only reason we'd be trying desperately to trade him is if we had PG and Lebron ready to sign and we're looking to team those two up with Kuzma, Ball, Ingram and Randle to form an instant contender.

We need Randle to make this thing a legit threat to the Warriors. Our team is on this streak because Randle is leading us. He has been our best player. If PG and Lebron want to sign with us because of the promise we have shown, Randle is a giant piece of that promise.
