Yet folks had the idea he was going to be there at 28 even with BK looking to move the 27th pick. I wouldn't put it past RC to move up to 27 to get him. The fact that we kept him from the Spurs, while getting Hart and Bryant is a huge get for us.
Tough shooting night this evening, but did a lot of other really nice things. Love how he is looking more for his teammates now with improved playmaking. Some great dishes and solid rebounding. I like how he's expanding his game lately. Hopefully the hot shooting returns as well.
Defenses are playing him tight on the perimeter...rushing at him when he catches the ball forcing him to put it on the floor. To his credit, Kuzma is adjusting. Still the best perimeter shooter on the squad when he's on. Defensively a work in progress though I expect him to improve.
if they really wanted him they wouldve jumped to 22 where he was really projected to be picked earlier, he was already projected at 27th to la in a few draft scenario....he wouldve been there at 28th, i would put $ on it

Agree to disagree on this one. I wouldn't put anything past the Spurs...They're just to savvy of a franchise and if youthink about Kuz's nonchalant/non-flashy demeanor, it screams Spurs to me. So if it's either through the Lou trade in getting 28 or snagging the Bk 27 pick from other possible suitors, we got our guy and prevented our rivals from getting him. That's a win no matter how you look at it.
Saw that UCLA beat Utah last night in College hoops... Would love to be a fly on the wall to hear the exchange between Ball and Kuzma about it.
A very efficient 18 points and 10 rebounds today. I wish he would have had more opportunities in the 4th quarter and OT.
You can't convince me for a second that a DLo-Ball dynamic would have better chemistry than these 2 light skinned mofos "beef" haha
