That's definitely the point. We have to look like a team that those stars can look at and say, "If I were there, we'd win 50 games". So far, we're doing a pretty good job of that. We have a long way to go and a lot to improve before we're there though.

That's what I'm talkin' about. Am back to f*** old man CAP-and-Young Gun-eating LeBron James. Keep the Beast! Bring in his brother in broken legs stable mate Paul George instead. All the frickin' STAR power you need to pull more stars.

Bring it ..... Warriors, San Antonio, Houston, C Bags. Imagine how freaking good that core would be by year 2. Imagine how much more cap flexibility going forward we would have.

    ..... NO FEELING DIRTY

Look at that roster up top if we just sign him in the off season. We still have Clarkson and Bryant who I think is going to turn into a good stretch the floor, high energy, cheap, BIG "small ball" center too. OKC isn't going to do jack this first year as far as playing for it all in the WCF. Which roster is PG going to want to sign with for his big contract? OKC or his hometown Los Angeles Lakers?

Yeah WTF LOL why not? I could live with Bryant being gone. Long as we are smoking the good stuff here that they would even think about doing that. But hey he's leaving in the summer because they aren't sniffing WCF and our roster looks a hella lot more promising going forward. Would really be special if we could beat them once or twice this season if we are gelling well. Paul would have to stand by his guns this time though that if they try to trade him anywhere else to get something before he bails, that he WILL NOT sign with that team.

The Bulls probably. My understanding is they have high hopes for LaVine.

I think the Bulls have Lavine as a future cornerstone.

what you talking about? Lavine posted better stats than Clarkson ever has last season, only issue is his acl but that was the 1st so he could recover from it.

He'll be back by jan, his ceiling is a lot higher than jc, he was starting to put it together last season before the injury. Hes a poor defender though but so is clarkson

lavine's a more athletic clarkson, imo. i'd take him over clarkson, but i wouldn't be super jacked up about it.

btw, all this noise getting louder about shipping clarkson...why? is this is agent trying to make something happen? lakers aren't denying any of this stuff.

Why not? With the great number of other shooters and scorers we have on the roster that same talent that he has is redundant.

If jc can be moved w/o a contract coming back, id easily do it....use that $ on randle, hart has potential to replicate jc production with a lil bit more D
