Jack Jack has a powerset more than almost any hero in either DC or Marvel. :D

Movie Pass just added an annual subscription which works out to $7 a month. My wife and I are now averaging a movie a week. So I’m paying $7 for 4 movie tickets. Just saying.

I got Movie Pass in your recommendation and can confirm it is as amazing as advertised. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll probably get that annual pass too

My wife and I saw Coco last night.

It's fantastic! The animation is great, the acting is great, the story is unique and fun.

    9/10.

It does look good. But unique? Is it not a ripoff of Book of Life?

I didn't watch Book of Life to be honest, but I meant unique in world building. I could see how the visuals are similar, but unique in terms of how things operate in this fictional world. There's magic, there's nuance, there's attention to detail that all are important in making the World of the Dead seem natural.

I have seen movies using Moviepass 3 out of the last 4 days. I almost feel like I'm getting away with something at this point. I get nervous before they swipe the card like I'm about to be busted for something or it's not going to work. But it does and I just walk into the theater. I can now see movies I want to see but wouldn't ordinarily pay for in the theater. My wife wanted to see Daddy's Home 2. No way in hell I pay 30 bucks for the two of us to go see that thing. But now? Why not?

Idk if anyone else watched The Greatest Showman over the holidays but I absolutely loved it. Great music.

I know some of you here use MoviePass. After looking at all the movies coming out this year, I started looking into MP. How has your experience been using MP?

Awesome so far. I am less than 5 minutes away from a 20 screen theater that takes it though. That makes it even more valuable. I have watched 8 movies using it since Thanksgiving (haven't used it for Star Wars at all as I pre-ordered those). The cool thing is like on a Wednesday night, if we're bored, we'll just roll down the hill and watch a movie. I think how close you live to a participating theater makes a difference on how much you will use it. If we had to travel even 15 minutes, I'm not sure we'd have used it more than 3-4 times.

Are there limitations on what you can see? Like can you see something opening weekend? See something more than once?

The limitations come from the type of screen. No IMAX or 3D and if a theater has luxury theaters (The Irvine Spectrum has like 8 VIP screens that you can't use it on). But you can watch it opening weekend. You can watch the same movie more than once (that is a recent upgrade).
