i would suggest trading jc with multiple picks for belleneli n illysova. id throw in nance or randle, wherever atl prefers. both marco/illy are solid shooters but best part, both are expiring!

You'd give up Clarkson and multiple picks for an expiring contract? Are you secretly Mitch Kupchak?

huh? we gave up russell to dump mozgov, people here overrate our talent. clarkson is viewed as a negative asset based on his contract. if you think teams are giving us value for jc, you clearly got blinders on

Is viewed by whom? Do you have insider knowledge on Clarkson's value around the league? We have no idea how he's viewed around the league. You clearly are jumping to conclusions not only on the player's value, but on my viewpoint.

I'm glad you're not in the GM chair throwing picks away for C- rate players.

you guys post negative comments of jc all the time and on top of that isn't mgmt goal to remove as much cap salary as possible for 18? if it took dlo to move moz, its going to take picks to move clarkson, its common rationale

You said "multiple picks". That's a massive haul you're giving up for the players you provided. Altanta would take that move today. Then you want to just "throw in" Nance and Randle? That's an enormous haul. We can be hard on Clarkson, that doesn't mean he is valueless.

multiple picks doesnt mean 1st rders n everybody n their mama around the league know what magic/rob plans are for 18. i said it would take dlo to move deng or mozgov last yr and you balked at that notion last yr too

I did. Then they got back a 1st round pick and a solid starting Center.

What you're getting back is a trash expiring contract.

Your offer is too high and we're losing that trade badly. Moving Clarkson for expiring contracts is the plan, but attaching multiple picks and Randle or Nance Jr. makes no sense at all. Atlanta would love that trade.

thats reality, nobody is giving away expiring for jc w/o inventive n in our case the price is even more than what most other teams have to pay

well just a base, marco is shooting 55% from 3s on 6 attempts a gm, not sure where else to get expiring that also fits a need

I'm fine getting an expiring. I'm fine with him and/or Ilyasova being that expiring. I'm not fine giving up a bunch of picks and more than one young asset for a bum that's going to be off the team in 6 months.

Can we just sign LBJ and DMC and call it a RING next summer?

PG13 sadly is now my 3rd option because of Kuz and BI on the team.

Brook has been a monster last two games lol. Ill still take Lebron and PG first. But OKC has NOT looked that good at all. I really don't think Georges heart is there. Havent even heard his name all year really. West and Carmello getting all the atrention as they're getting Ls.

George could play SG I think. Or at least he was able to early in his career with Granger at SF for Indiana.

And PG would need to put his foot down and not back away from stating categorically that he wants to come to the Lakers and Will Not re-sign with any other team. Enough is enough, he wants to come home.
