I have no idea what they're playing. Not the 21 I play. They just take turns and first to 21 made FTs wins? Are they really that bad at FTs?

No idea. And no homo. Because leg man that I am I notice Lonzo's calves are definitely thicker than when he joined us. So guessing whatever his unknown but impressive vert was last year and in HS with his greatest dunks highlight clip the other day ..... he's going to be getting up even higher as he matures.

They aren't that bad at FTs. Its more difficult because they are giving them more points toward 21 if they make a swish with no rim touched. Not sure if they still get a point with a make, was difficult to hear them at certain times.

Like @Battle Tested20 said it seemed like the goal was to not hit the rim. The optics on this one weren't that good though. lol.

A nugget that came up from Lonzo's post game interview: the team isn't watching film yet. That'll hurt when you're playing a team full of guys capable of shooting.

I don’t really get how we can come out every single preseaon and look exactly as inept at the basics as we did the year before. Stop leaving the other team’s best 3 point shooter wide open (Gary Harris), can’t make a a 3 to save our lives, leaving wide open lanes to the hoop, awful turnovers. Teams always seem to look like they’re a well-oiled machine against us, and we look lost. Never fails.

Too bad the emergence of Kuzma has been offset by the subpar play of Zu, Clarkson, Nance and Ingram. I was expecting Zu and Ingram to take it to the next level, but no such indications thus far.

Ingram is trying too hard and playing faster than he's capable of, so I can semi-understand his struggles. But Zu? His recent comments of coming unprepared to SL is inexcusable and maddening. I honestly feel betrayed because I had him on my untouchable list through all the trade talk. I wouldn't mind moving him now. Nance is who he is. He's on a cheap contract and plays the right way, kind of like Brewer, so I really have no issues with him. Clarkson has been dead to me for a while now. We should have tried to sneak him into the DLO trade.

Hope to see Hart play soon. I don’t have high hopes for it, but I’d love to see him make JC expendable. Well..more expendable.

Or... one of them has to prove they're a dramatically better shooter than they've looked so far. It's possible that Brook saves the situation, but they've got to start coming through.

Right. At least one needs to emerge or it’s gonna be a longer season than we thought.

We don't really have great/pure shooters on the team. KCP is streaky, Deng only likes the corner, JC is unreliable, Randle is still shaky, Nance is allergic, Ingram needs to be consistent. Brook and Kuzma are our best shooters?
