Who are you hoping your team snags?

As a Falcons fan I want defense, defense, and then some more defense -- specifically in the form of a pass rush. I'd love for them to grab one of the big names (Suh, Houston, JPP) but I don't think they'll be viable options because of price tag (unwarranted in JPP's case) or franchise tag (Houston). Jerry Hughes, Jason Worilds, Pernell McPhee, Greg Hardy (depending on his upcoming suspension), or Brian Orakpo (with his injuries, he'd have to be very cheap). If there's any money left after addressing the D, they need to address the TE issue. No one can replace TG, but you HAVE to get some production there. Cameron would be a great fit since he wants out of that **** show in Cleveland.

Lucky for us the draft is extremely deep in pass rushers as well. They have to use their 8th overall pick on one. Randy Gregory is my dream pick, but he's going as high as #2 in some mocks. I've seen him sliding to #8 in a couple, but I just don't see that happening. With him gone, I'll take Dante Fowler or Shane Ray. I think Fowler's more likely because Quinn has coached him before and he has better size. Ray has a hell of a motor on him, I could definitely live with that selection as well. In the second round, I'd consider pulling the trigger on one of the two elite RBs in this draft (if either are still on the board). Our current RBs don't fit all that well in Shanahan's schemes. Gurley or Gordon would be much better fits.

As a Raiders fan I hope some other team takes Suh.

I'd like to add a WR, DB, and a trench player or two, but I think we can snag the WR in the draft.

I'd take Suh in a heartbeat. High priced free agents rarely make a big difference, but he's a freak of nature. A real difference maker and SF is weak at NT.

    Cowboys fan

1.) Unrealistic - Revis or Suh
2.) Resign - all our own*
    - If AP becomes available, cheaper contract between AP and Murray gets my vote
    - Really interested to see McClain and Lee play together
3.) Brandon Carr - Needs to take a pay cut
4.) Draft - defense, defense, defense
    - Cornerbacks are a necessity please
    - Pass rusher and DT is the number 2 need

Although if the Cowboys went 1st pick OL again, I wouldn't even care because our line is turning into a dynasty line. (In terms of how long they will play together)

They have no money for him. They have to sign Wilson this year. That backfield is making top dollar too. Plus Lynch is a FA.

Yup...they have to deal with the cap. It will be an interesting offseason in the Emerald City.

I think Seattle will be very intriguing to follow. They lost Tate last year (and another WR I think). They can lose Lynch, honestly, and still be a very good team if they're shrewd elsewhere. They have Turbin and Michael on the bench, giving them arguably the best RB stable in the league. What's worth watching is if they spend big money on FAs or wind up getting bargains because they're so good.

    1. FA's - Suh [on the fence about this], TE Julius Thomas, TE Cameron [thanks JSM!]
    2. Resign - WR Streater, RB McFadden [pay cut], C Wisnewski [cap friendly terms]
    3. Release - RB Jones-Drew, LB Woodley, TE Ausberry, QB Schaub, CB Rogers, WR Moore
    4. Draft - DL, WR, CB, OL
    - DL: Williams [if available], McCarthy [UCLA], Odighizuwa [UCLA]...
    - WR: Kevin White, Amari Cooper, Josh Harper [re-unite with Carr]...
    - CB: Shaw [USC]...slot defender
    - OL: Peat [Stanford], Fisher [Oregon]...
    - LB: Kendricks [UCLA]

Offense: Anemic...Carr handcuffed so he needs playmakers in space. The obvious is make Latavius Murray the feature back and use Reese more. Line needs depth.
Defense: Need a second inside pass rusher Williams will fit that bill IF he were available. Depth at linebacker needs to be addressed. Secondary is good for now.
Special Teams: Jano is Jano... King is very good.
Coaches: Good with who we have...though ? on Musgrave.

Turbin and Michael are both very good but neither are gamebreakers like Lynch. Their receiving corps is still average regardless of what Doug Baldwin thinks. Seattle is an attractive place to go at this time so free agents will definitely give them a strong consideration.

Lots of people think Michael is a game changer. I've been following the myth around him since he entered the league. I would never bet for a player to step into the Lynch role and do what he did, but if I were Seattle, Lynch would not get a massive offer from me.

I totally agree on the rest.

Glad the Falcons dumped their dead weight...dropped 4 guys yesterday. Leaving us with around $31m entering FA.

It makes me sad that Steven Jackson is dead weight now... He was one of my favorite running backs.

^ He was a monster on those God awful Rams teams. Was really hoping he'd come here to Atlanta and it'd be equally beneficial. But between our injuries, our O-Line, and his drastic drop off it was anything but a storybook ending to his career. He says he has another 1,000 yard season in him...I don't see it. Maybe he could have some success in Dallas behind that line, but he'd be a backup there at best.

On another note: What the hell are the Browns doing? I thought McCown was going to have success in Tampa, especially with those giant receivers. But he was soooo bad. And now he's going to a team with zero receiving options. And they're going to draft a QB too? Jesus! This reminds me of when the Wolves had 9 point guards on their roster that one year.

Yeah Jackson looks pretty much cooked. It's really too bad. I had high hopes for him in ATL.

I have no idea what the Browns are doing... the Browns have no idea what the Browns are doing.

Unfortunate about Steven Jackson who was one of the best backs during his prime. Cleveland is hedging their bets that Manziel won't be back for awhile. McCown had a stable of good receivers in Chicago but I don't think the set in Tampa is as good.

Franchise tag'ees -- DT, Dez, Houston (expected but DAMN IT!)
Surprised Detroit didn't tag Suh. He should head on down to Atlanta.

    JPP was Franchised, too.

You can take Suh. I'm afraid he'll come to Oakland otherwise.
