I like it. I know others get concerned about too much youth but I don't have that issue. Huertas was old and not part of the long term picture. Granted Ennis has done little in the NBA since being a 1st round pick in 2014 but he is still only 22 and I'd rather give him PT the rest of this season as an audition.
I think we waive Calderon and need a back up PG. I love Huertas but not for more than 5 mins a game. Why not take a shot at a kid.
I hope Huertas gets picked up by a playoff contender. As for Ennis, hadn't watched him play since his Syracuse days.
Good trade. Huertas was not playing except garbage time. Maybe the kid shows something, he is still very young.
ennis has been pretty unimpressive but if all it costs is huertas then yeah sure i liked marcelinho. hope he gets picked up by a contender
why does houston do this? favor to ennis's agent? he's certainly worth a look, at least moreso than huertas.
Given they are just waiving Huertas, this was pretty much a financially motivated deal for Houston. They save money somewhere here.
Salary dump, Rockets are looking cash to buy waived players at the deadline..they had no use for Ennis, McDaniels or Brewer..and traded the 1st rounder
