Wildcard Weekend is over and thank God there were no competitive games. Predict the Divisional Round. Houston @ New England. Houston has a solid defense, but no way is Brock Osweiler going into Foxbourgh and beating Tom Brady. Pittsburgh @ Kansas City. Pittsburgh's offense is rolling and their full compliment of weapons I think will be too much for KC to handle. Seattle @ Atlanta. I think Seattle's pass rush will get after Ryan and they'll be able to pound the rock with Rawls. Green Bay @ Dallas. This will be a great game and the way Rodgers is playing definitely make me nervous as a Dallas fan. I think they'll be able to run on the Packers though and play keep away from Rodgers and keep him off the field which the Giants weren't able to do because they can't score.
New England - Patriot balance will too much for Houston. Pittsburgh - close call but I like the Steelers full complement of weapons with Brown and Bell plus they have a good defense too. Atlanta - Seattle's O-line is porous and how much can they protect Wilson? Green Bay - another close call...Rodgers and Green Bay is playing lights out.
Hell of a game between Dallas and Green Bay. Rodgers...the best quarterback I've ever seen throwing on the move. That pass to Cook...damn.
Yep...and he did not even have Nelson too. Atlanta's Ryan will likely be named MVP but Rodgers though calling they will run the table to take the division and the playoffs? He is always nailing the opposing defense for that too many men on the field penalty...freakin' uncanny. That game in Atlanta will be a ton of fireworks. Green Bay's defense held though they will play a Falcon offense that is a different animal altogether. Over/under will be 70 in Sin City.
Was a hell of game. I was at it and one of the best games I've ever seen. Heartbreaking loss for the Cowboys, but the future is bright in Dallas. OL still relatively young and two bright young stars in Dak and Zeke.
Agree that Dallas already has cornerstones in Prescott and Elliott along with Bryant. The defense needs some upgrading but they have been solid all year if not spectacular. Needs at the d-line and secondary.
Yes reminds me a little bit of Oakland. Although they have a better pass rush much better, but if both teams upgrade their defense gonna be around for a long time to come.
Conference Championship picks: New England - really a toss up given how the Patriots' offense struggled against Houston's defense. Pittsburgh has better balance. See Patriots by a hair. Atlanta - Packer defense is banged up in the secondary. I don't think their linebackers can cover the Falcon running backs. Rodgers' magic runs out.
Unreal. Dude is absolutely unreal. Losing to him for the second time in the playoffs in three years I now know how all the fans of the teams that Kobe killed over the years felt. There is just nothing you can do. Guy is too good.
What's amazing is that Dak outplayed Rodgers in the second half right up until that last pass. Still, it was a great game and yes, I am bitter about the officiating. Green Bay had TWO penalties the entire game and they hit the Cowboys with a penalty I have never seen called in my 50 years of watching football, stopping a drive.
Dallas played a tighter coverage on the Packer receivers in the second half. Prescott has so much poise which I have never seen in a rookie QB. Rodgers though is unreal...a surefire first ballot HoF. The back and forth last minutes of the game? You can't possibly write or script that...
